Pumpkin Cinnamon Streusel Buns

Ingredients
Rolls:
1 package yeast
1/4 cup warm water
2 3/4 cups flour
1/2 cup pumpkin puree
1/2 cup nondairy milk
1/4 cup melted vegan butter
1 tbsp sugar
1 1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp nutmeg (optional)
Filling:
3 tbsp sugar
3 tbsp brown sugar
2 tbsp flour
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
2 tbsp vegan butter
Glaze (optional):
3/4 cup powdered sugar
1 tbsp hot water
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
Recipe Steps
Mix yeast and warm water, let sit for 5 minutes.
Add 2 cups flour, pumpkin puree, milk, butter, sugar, salt, and nutmeg.
Mix until smooth.
Knead 10 minutes. Add remaining 3/4 flour 1 tbsp at a time to prevent sticking.
Cover and let rise 45 minutes.
Combine filling ingredients.
Punch dough down. Let rest 5 minutes.
Roll into 12x10 rectangle.
Sprinkle with filling, roll up, cut into 12 slices.
Place in 9 inch square baking pan.
Let rise 25 minutes.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Bake 20 minutes, cool 15 minutes.
Optional: mix glaze ingredients together.
Top with glaze if desired.
