Ingredients
1 1/2 cups warm water or vegan vegetable broth
4 cups dry bread cubes
3 Tbsp vegan butter
1/2 cup chopped celery
1 1/2 cup chopped onion
1 1/2 tsp poultry seasoning
1 1/2 tsp fresh thyme
1 1/2 tsp fresh sage
Salt and pepper to taste
Recipe Steps
Soak bread cubes in water.
Melt butter in large skillet.
Saute celery and onion until soft, about 10 minutes.
Add poultry seasoning, fresh herbs, and salt and pepper.
In a large bowl, mix together sauteed vegetables and bread.
Transfer to a large baking dish.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes, covered.
Uncover and bake for anther 10-15 minutes until browned on top.
