Ingredients
2 cups nondairy milk
2 tsp apple cider vinegar
4 cups white whole wheat flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1/4 cup nondairy butter, melted
Recipe Steps
Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
In a measuring cup, combine the milk and vinegar.
In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
Add the milk and butter.
Mix until you have a sticky dough.
Knead the dough for 10-12 strokes.
Place the dough in greased cake pan.
Cut a cross on the top.
Bake for 40-45 minutes.
Cook before serving.
*Can add 1 1/2 cup dried currants to dough before baking if desired.
