Best Ever Blueberry Peach Crumble

Ingredients
Topping-
3/4 cup white whole wheat flour
1/2 cup brown sugar (scant)
pinch of salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon
4 tbsp vegan butter (melted)
Filling-
3 1/2 cups fruit (combination of blueberries and peaches, or other fruit of choice; a good combination is about 1 1/2 pounds peaches and 1/2 cup blueberries)
Recipe Steps
Mix all dry topping ingredients together.
Pour in melted butter and stir until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Add blueberries and peaches to baking dish.
Sprinkle topping over fruit.
Bake in 375 degree oven for 45-50 minutes.
Serve warm.
Fall Variation-Use 4 pounds of Golden Delicious apples in place of berries and peaches. Slice apples into 3/4 inch pieces. Cook apples in baking dish covered with aluminum foil for 45 minutes at 400 degrees. Remove apples from oven. Cover with topping. B
Crumb Cake Variation-for crumb cake style crumbs, beat 1/2 cup plus 1 Tbsp flour, 6 Tbsp brown sugar, 4 Tbsp vegan butter, 1/2 tsp cinnamon, and 1 tsp vanilla extract until mixture resembles a stiff cookie dough. Break into crumbs over fruit before baking
